Brut
Sparkling wine – what a modest term for this great dry Geldermann. Only think of the fine base wines, Chardonnay, Pineau de Loire and Pinot. And it has rested on the finest lees for two years before having been riddled and disgorged. The successful result: a special taste, which goes very well with seafood – all thanks to traditional bottle fermentation.
To be sure, this expensive production method has become a rarity. But for sophisticated people and special occasions it is the only conceivable sparkling wine to be served. Santé.

Rosé
A dry Geldermann of an entirely different colour. In this rosé, the flavour of a Kaiserstuhl red is coupled with that of top wines of the Pineau de Loire and Chardonnay grapes. After having aged for two years, having been riddled and disgorged and having received its dosage, in brief, after it has been produced by traditional bottle fermentation, connoisseurs will taste a fruitiness that allows this Geldermann Rosé to accompany your dinner right down to dessert. Which does, of course, require large stocks of it...

Carte Blanche
Amidst all our specialties, surely our classic is a must, too: “Geldermann Carte Blanche”. Its elegant, full-bodied character, formed by very ripe Pineau de Loire grapes, makes it very popular indeed, precisely because it is a perfect choice for all occasions. It goes without saying that this cuvée of Pineau de Loire, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir also ages in the bottle for at least two years before being riddled and disgorged.

Carte Noire
Demi-sec is “in” again. At least if it is as pleasant and stylish as “Geldermann Carte Noire”. Its very smooth and round taste makes it go very, very well with all kinds of dessert. And there is hardly any alternative to the traditional secondary fermentation, ageing for at least two years on the lees, and to the riddling and disgorging. At least none that would be good enough...

Brut Nature
Some times, it is doing without some things that makes for a true art form. In a bottle of Geldermann Brut Nature, you find an unadulterated cuvée – without any dosage. But it rested on the finest lees for two years. The extra-dry result would, in a wine book, be described as follows: a bouquet of exotic woods and green apples, a substantial, invigorating taste, a perfect strong and racy finish. But why not ask some oysters? After all, this is the sparkling wine that goes very well with them.

Brut Jahrgang (vintage)
This great Geldermann was composed of French top wines of only one vintage. Those were the lucky ones. After all, being part of this composition means a bottle-ageing process of at least five years, being riddled and disgorged and a spectacular appearance at a special social occasion. If you enjoy this very dry Geldermann Brut Jahrgang in a private atmosphere, with, say, caviar, terrines or white meat, they won’t show any resistance either, though.
Please ask for the latest vintage.

Cuvée 01
Without wanting to exclude anyone, this Geldermann is only for some, not for others, and not least because its availability is rather limited. So if you can get hold of this composition of Pineau de Loire wines with that crucial refinement, finesse, and having aged for at least five years, you can really call yourself lucky.
Should you nonetheless want to present someone with a “Geldermann Cuvée 01”: well, why not?! Safe and elegant, we have enclosed it in a small silver-grey sack made of silk in a stamped aluminium box - out of respect for our customers, sure, but above all out of respect for this cuvée.
